Eject someone from an SL group
Have the bot eject a member from one of your SL groups.
You need permission to eject people from groups (groups.eject).
Ejecting takes someone out of the group in SL. They can join again if they're invited, so to keep them out, ban them instead.
Eject a member
- Go to SL groups and open the group.
- On the Members tab, find them. Typing in Find a member narrows the list as you type.
- Press Eject… beside their name, and confirm with Eject.
The bot ejects them in SL, and a message says when it's done. If it couldn't, the message says why. The group's Activity tab keeps a record of what the bot did.
Ejecting sends no message in SL, so it doesn't count toward the bot's daily limit.
When you can't eject someone
Eject… doesn't show beside the group's owners or Civitas's bot: nobody can eject them through Civitas. When it's greyed out, point at it to see why:
- The bot needs Eject Members belonging to the 'Everyone' role from this Group, and Remove Members from Roles to eject someone who has roles.
- You need the SL abilities their roles give, in the group yourself, unless you own the community or the group.
See Give the bot the abilities it needs.
Eject many people
To eject everyone SL hasn't seen for a while, use Inactive members on the same tab. See Invite, give roles or eject many people at once.
