Look up someone's profile
A member's profile puts together what your community has on them: their membership, roles, teams, moderation cases and the history of changes to their membership.
You need permission to see members (members.view). The moderation and history parts need their own permissions, as below.
A profile is the place to check before you act on someone: whether they're still a member, which groups they're in, what they hold and whether they've been in trouble before.
Open a profile
Press a person's name on the Members page. Names on a team's roster and on a moderation case open the same profile, and a case can lead to someone who was never a member.
What's on it
- About: their name, SL username and avatar UUID, then Membership (Member, Left, or Never a member), when they joined, and whether they have a Civitas account. Under it are the SL groups they're in.
- Roles: the Civitas roles they hold. If you can give roles, the x on a role takes it away and the + gives one, as on the Members page. Former members hold no roles.
- Teams: each team roster they're on, with their rank, whether they're on duty, their hours this week and last week, and their next shift.
- Moderation cases and Moderator notes: the cases about them and the newest notes moderators wrote on those cases. These show only if you can see moderation cases (moderation.view).
- History: the changes Civitas recorded to their membership, newest first, with when, who and what. Press a row to see the reason and what changed. Older changes loads more. This shows only if you can see the audit log (audit.view). Moderation cases keep their own history.
Press View all on a panel to go to the page it comes from.
If the profile is empty
Nobody to show means your community has nothing on that avatar, or the address is wrong. Go back to Members and try the name again.
