Share a form

Each form has its own address: your community's web address, then /f/ and the form's name, like cmty.app/harbor-point/f/staff-application. It's shown at the top of the form's page. People can fill it in while it's taking submissions.

Copy the link

Open the form on the Forms page and press Copy link. Paste it anywhere, like your Discord server or a notecard. Open form shows the form as people see it.

To change the address, edit Address on the Settings tab. The old address keeps leading to the form, so links you've shared keep working. Changing the title doesn't change the address.

Send it by IM

Your community's bot can IM people the form's title and link in SL.

1. Make sure the form is taking submissions.
2. Press Send by IM.
3. Choose people with Add a member, or check Everyone holding these roles or Everyone on these teams.
4. Check how many IMs it sends and how many messages you have left today.
5. Press Send IMs, and confirm.

Each person gets one IM, even if you choose them more than one way. Each IM counts against your bot's daily messages, and one send goes to at most 250 people. IMs can't be taken back once they're sent.

List it on your public page

On the Settings tab, turn on List on the public page. The form shows under Forms on your public page while it's open. Forms only certain roles or teams complete aren't listed. Team applications show under Hiring instead.

Know where people came from

A Hidden value question saves a value from the form's link with each submission. People never see it. Give it a Name in the link, like from. A link ending in ?from=terminal then saves "terminal" with the answers, so you can give each place you share the form its own link.
