Add credit and buy Core

L$ you pay Civitas in SL becomes credit on your account. Your Wallet is at the bottom of the side navigation, under Your account. Credit earns no interest and can't be cashed out.

Add credit

Add credit lists the places to pay Civitas in SL:

• Pay any amount to a billing terminal. Its place opens a card with SL's map and a Teleport button.
• Or pay the Civitas bot it names from anywhere in SL: open its profile in SL and choose Pay.
• Or buy credit in Civitas's store on the SL Marketplace.

What you pay becomes credit within a minute, and the bell tells you when it has. If there's nowhere listed, ask Civitas support to add credit for you. History lists every change to your credit, newest first.

Buy on the SL Marketplace

Civitas's store on the SL Marketplace sells credit and Core purchases. What you buy goes to your account as soon as the Marketplace tells Civitas, and the bell tells you.

To give it to someone else, buy it as a gift on the Marketplace. It goes to the person you gave it to, not you. If they haven't signed in to Civitas yet, it waits for them, and they get it the first time they do.

Refunds

If Civitas refunds a payment you made in SL, Civitas's bot pays the L$ back to you in SL. The same amount comes off your credit, and History shows it as "Refunded in SL". The bell tells you when it's paid. To ask for a refund, ask Civitas support.

Buy Core

Core is bought once for each community you create. Each Core purchase creates one community, and is used up when it does. You can buy one with credit here, or on the SL Marketplace.

1. In Credit, press Buy Core for and the price. If your credit doesn't cover it yet, the panel says how much more you need.
2. Confirm. The price comes from your credit.

Unspent Core purchases counts the ones you haven't used. Use one when you set up your community. A Core purchase isn't refunded, and deleting a community doesn't give it back. Core purchases lists each one, how you got it and which community it created.

Until Civitas starts charging, creating a community is free, and the Wallet says so.

Pay for a community

To pay for a community you manage, move credit into its balance on its Billing page with Top up. That move is final. See Pay for your community.

Claim a special offer

Special offers lists offers that give you credit or a Core purchase. Press Claim, or type an offer's code in Have a code? and press Claim. Offers for a community are claimed on its Billing page.
